The itching post - A wild mustang takes advantage of a fence post to scratch an itch. Thousands of wild mustang roam the Kansas Flint Hill according to a recent Kansas Magazine story. The mustangs come from federal land in Nevada, Wyoming, Montana and other areas in the western United States. I spend a recent afternoon in the Flint Hills southeast of Callaway, Ks. photographing the mustangs. I spotted several hundred roaming the prairie.
